I have meant to use this for a while now...not the greatest shot. Taken at wrong time of day as we passed through Rockville. But still, think it shows the beautiful work. It is kind of funny, I think this is beautiful, but would not want it for myself.
We are home for a couple days at least...Ms. Lorelei is with us.
i like the shot!
ReplyDeleteenjoy your time with lorelei!!!
I like the decorative detail on the stairs. The color contrast between the stairs and the wall works together very well.
ReplyDeleteI like that! Very beautiful! I wouldn't want to climb it very often for sure :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very pretty. The colors are very nice, too. I agree, it wouldn't fit into my life either, but I admire it.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most elegant staircase I have ever laid eyes on! If I had a two story house and needed a staircase, I would want to buy that one! Cuz if I had a two story house and needed a staircase, I would be rich and could afford to buy it! Beautiful..thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelike the shot and the steps.. if i had steps i would like to have these, but could not walk up and down them.
ReplyDeleteThis is GLORIOUS!!! I love every single thing about it!! And yes, I WOULD want it!!! I also have an image in my mind of wedding pictures on these steps, wouldn't that be outrageous? Maybe if we snuck over there late at night with a hammer and saw...
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely staircase and I really like that it is blue.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely time with Lorelei :))
I love this shot! The staircase is so beautiful and I just love, love the color!
ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful! I love turquoise color and/or copper/green patina. The stairway looks beautiful with the pinkish brick wall behind it.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend with Lorelei. ;-)

It is really beautiful, but I agree with you, I would not want it for myself. Of course, it would look rather silly with my modern single level home anyway!
ReplyDeleteVery unique and perfect for photo shoots. I think it looks great. Nice contrast. I am glad you stopped to take the picture :)
ReplyDeleteI love iron works and this is outstanding. What a great capture!
