Technically, I guess they are not murals....but I called the first one that. So will continue to do so. I did know they they were not painted directly on the wall....but then Ginny said something about it. I should have corrected myself on that post, but by that time I thought about doing it, it was late in the day.
I can't post a picture of it, without giving the credit due to the artist(s). This was my other favorite from the wall. I just simply love it. Can you believe it is done by Junior High Art Classes...even with the help of a teacher. It is fabulous.
it is fantastic and i would not believe the kids could do this if i were not looking at it.
ReplyDeleteA fine class project. I find their details from that period most interesting. Someone did some good searching to locate appropriate elements that fit the cabin and early period.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Rose. I like murals and when they tell a history I cannot begin to get enough of it. Wonderful. When we were at the Kettle Falls Museum we saw some period piece rifles made by a fourth grade class under the guidance of their teacher and I thought they were from the 1800's. We talked to the teacher and he said the rifles were all used by the childrens fathers to hunt the year they were made. Fabulous. I wish I had had a teacher that would have inspired me. I wish I had taken pics of the rifles. Maybe Bob did. MB
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL!!!! The best barn art yet without a doubt; no wait, maybe it is not on a barn, maybe some other building. What building is it on? And like my Indian mural, school children, they are very very talented, it is hard to believe. They should have won some kind of award. The details are just amazing.
ReplyDeletereally cool scene. :)
