I've looked at it far too long with no idea. I was inclined to think it being a can opener of some fashion but the configuration made no sense for that. I'm done; moving on to the next blog.
I love when you find these things. I asked my hubby to look at it. Not a drill. It is a vintage apple/peach peeler. If you had looked at the back of that round gear on the left it would have given you the company - probably Reading of Pennsylvania.
That is interesting looking. I like it too. I'll ask Bob to take a look---he may know. Do you think it could be an apple peeler/corer??? I have an old one but it's not quite like that. Interesting. MB

ReplyDeleteI am not sure, but I think it can be a hand wood drill. You turn the handle around and it will start drilling :-)
