These are not the greatest, however, they are far better than I expected. I was shooting through a real dirty window and I do not understand how that don't show.
I wish that first was at least where the light reflected in its eye...it doesn't and the other has its back to me. Since I don't have anything new, I thought I would go ahead and post them.
if i knew photo shop, i'd tell you to add a light reflection glint to his eye. :) he's pretty, just the same.
ReplyDeleteLook at all that yellow, I can't wait for my sunflowers to bloom, they are still growing.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteHe's a handsome wee soul, and you captured him beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThe Goldfinch is pretty, mine have gone missing this summer. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteyou can fixt the eye in PicMonkey or Photoshop.. but it is beautiful like it is. love that pretty yellow and the photos are perfect to me. if you get really close to glass the lens doesn't see it,
ReplyDeleteI have gold finches coming to my new feeder. The males are gorgeous when the sunlight is on them.
ReplyDeleteThese are fine shots. The dirty window is not in focus and may reduce the light coming to your lens, but won't show in the picture.
I'm surprised you took these photos through a window! The goldfinch seems quite happy to have found a sunflower.
ReplyDeleteLooks very curious about that sunflower.
ReplyDeleteThey are neon beauties to be sure. I caught one on our sunflower the other day too. He will probably appear somewhere this week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty bird. - I think the shot with it's back turned to the camera is neat, you get to see a lot of the detail of it's feathers.
