Time For some Good Fences

We're going back in time for Good Fences today...all the way back to 2006.  First with this one from about 45 minutes north of us.  Does it look at all familiar to you?  It is the same fence featured earlier this summer...look here to see.  Quite a different looking scene isn't.  I know it is partly that everything is green and growing in the recent post, but still it is quite a change.
I couldn't resist this one of one of Mama Squirrel's babies.  Also from 2006.  Boy that seems a lifetime ago!

Thank-you Theresa for still taking the time to host this meme!

  1. the squirrel is too cute. :) i actually like this older fence scene better! love the rickety board section on the left, the nice rail fences and stones on the right, and the simple loop of barbed wire sans any further decoration. :)

  2. Love having the fence as a portal to view the building and equipment.

  14. A fine shot of this fence and its condition. The squirrel shot is so typical of the way they hold and chew things. They are such little clowns.

  15. Good thing I looked back on the other post because yes it does look quite different although the wire wrapped on the post does give it away. - Sweet shot of the little squirrel by the fence.
