Continuing the Tennessee barn series.

Once again, I am going back to April 26, 2011 for my barn photos.  One of these days I am going to take the time and see how many different barns I photographed that day. 
We will start with this one at the edge of the road.  Of course, no place to pull off.  And the road so twisted and winding that one is afraid to stop.  On the plus side, we at least go at a slower pace on roads like this.
I would love to know how old the old part of the one above is.  The barn as a whole, looks to be in good shape.
Another barn that is still standing strong.
If you will expand the view and look in the right end of the barn, there are big piles of tobacco sticks.  Someone must have at one time raised a lot of tobacco!
 I will leave you with this one...it has a lean to it.  I actually wondered if it is a barn or an old house.  When I expand the view, though, it is an old barn.

    A wide variety of interesting old barns. I hope that at least some of them will be preserved for the future.

    You find some of the best barns of any I have seen on blogs, Rose! Tennessee barns seem to be closer to the road than the ones I see here in Ontario. Or maybe you are using a telephoto lens. ;)

    these are all amazing finds and i would love to see them. the second one is fantastic, i am thinking those notched logs maybe 100 to 200 years old and were a part of a barn at one time. love it

    A fine barn series. I like the vertical boards in some of these barns. They look to be in fairly good shape except for the leaning one.
