I don't know if all guinea fowl are vocal or not, but my aunt had some and they were very vocal when I was around them. I assumed it was because they were not used to me.
Don't you think they are the strangest looking birds? Of course, they might think I was a bit strange looking myself.

ReplyDeleteGuineas are great for getting rid of ticks and grasshoppers, etc... but, sadly, no one ever taught them not to 'talk' with their mouths full!
ReplyDeleteThat "pair" of geese look like a trio to me; unless of course you have a very rare two-headed goose. Now that would be strange.

those two geese look just like the one in my pic yesterday. same type. the few guinea i have seen were noisy

The Guinea somewhat resemble California Quail. My neighbor had guineas on the farm and I remember them roosting in the trees at night.
