If this table had not had two or three inch chunks out of the enamel, I think I would have had to bring it home. I would have just lived with the small bits being gone. The chairs are cute though not comfortable, but that table is sturdy. and there are two little leaves that store under the main table. You just slide them out. They are very sturdy, too. All three pieces could be had for $45.
it's pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great set. Cute as can be.
ReplyDeleteAdorable table set!
ReplyDeleteNice set for kid's study table.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the missing enamel.
ReplyDeletemother had one of these, but different legs... they were common in almost every home when i was growing up... that is a really good price for the 3 or even for the table.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting "buy" that would be hard for you to pass up. If the chips bothered, you could also cover it with a linoleum or table cloth.
ReplyDeleteCool older table and interesting chairs.

Yep, a neat old table just looking for the next place to live on.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that you didn't get this - those are some serious chips - but the table is darling.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever seeing a table like this before. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteWe have to buy a new kitchen table and there are all kinds of 1950s metal reproduction tables for sale for a lot more money! We had to laugh, thinking if only we had saved the ones we and our parents had back then, they'd probably be worth more than we paid for them! We're not getting that kind. Been there, done that ))).
ReplyDeleteYou know, I had my eye one of these for our new porch we are building...I saw a couple on ebay and also Craig's list. I cam very close to getting one....they ain't cheap either!
