The photo above was taken just the other day...while the one below was taken back on Sept 6th.
It is the same plant, just different lighting, diffferent times of day. This hibiscus never got over 2 ft tall, if that. But it sure has produced the blooms.

ReplyDeleteI love hibiscus... my Granmy had a row of them in a similar colour, backed by a row of Rose of Sharon in white.

ReplyDeleteHi Rose. I like that delicate color a lot and the macro shot is lovely. We won't see hibiscus until we go to Florida this winter... They don't bloom here in the Pacific Northwest, or at least I never see them.

ReplyDeletewe don't have one of these, but our bank has a hedge made of them, some this color and some yellow, they are different and so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these shots are excellent. I like the detail and vividness of the close up. The earlier one is very attractive too. I like seeing them in their natural state.
