We ran across this home in Howe, Indiana. Even though it could use a little TLC, I really, really like it.
Notice the windows--that little round one right there by the front porch and also the one with the arch that is uppermost.
Doesn't that look like a porch you could relax on?
I really like the Victorian feel of it...probably many unique features inside as well!
ReplyDeleteI say this is a very pretty house. Love the cute windows and of course the porch too!
ReplyDeleteInteresting shaped dormer windows!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is the round window is in the staircase, possibly at a landing; and the arched ones in the attic to take advantage of all the light with sloped ceilings. All of which adds so much character. My kind of house.
ReplyDeleteWhat neat dormer windows!
ReplyDeleteAn enormous amount of thought and work went into the building of such a fine home. I don't think anything like it would be constructed these days.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great house....one for a family. Since I have renovated about 7 old houses, I can tell you it would take a tremendous amount of work and money to renovate this one. But, it is still a great house that deserves to be worked on....
ReplyDeletesome really cute features.
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute home, I really love the porch! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see all the nooks and crannies inside too! This house has tons of character.
ReplyDeletei would love to own this one. LOVE the porch and the tiny windows and the dormers, a wonderful old home.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous house. Wouldn't you like to go inside and see if the insides match up with the outside. I love a big porch. Every house I've lived in had a nice porch. My house has a porch almost around the whole house but since I moved in with Bob I can truly say I miss a porch.

That is a very charming looking home. I like the cute windows it has and the color scheme.
ReplyDeleteA fine presentation of this remarkable looking house. The first thing to get attention was the paint scheme, then the unique windows. They don't seem to build this way any longer.
ReplyDeleteGreat house! would love to see it fixed up.
ReplyDeleteThey don't make them like that any more. My grandfather built houses and no two were the same-- and no two windows were the same size! I think he designed them as he went along.
ReplyDeleteI love this home. It would be a dream to see the inside!
ReplyDeleteIf walls could talk..!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you like it! It's got good bones & a comfortable lived in look!
