Christmas Cardinals...

I saw this post by Eileen and thought how often I think of Christmas when I see the male Northern Cardinal...
so I thought I would share a few cardinal photos taken this morn.
I know these first 3 or 4 photos are the same Northern Cardinal, but there was at least two out there.
Shoot, I might as well throw in the Mrs....
oh, and here is another male..
and another of a female..

Hope you enjoyed these beautiful cardinals.

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas...I probably won't post any more before Christmas and maybe not even before 2016.  I hope you have a safe, healthy and joyous New Year.

  1. I love Cardinals. Did you know they mate for life? Or that they can live as long as 16 years? If you visit my blog, check out the tag "Mr. Baldy". I think he visited my feeder for 5 or 6 years.
    Merry Christmas

  7. The cardinals are perfect to post as a leading to Christmas. I only wish we had an occasional cardinal here, but that doesn't happen. Merry Christmas to you too, Rose. Have a fine time with family and friends as we had to a new year.
