Thought I would take a moment and post a few barn photos for the Barn Collective...I am only going back to the summer of 2014 for these. They are all taken either in Indiana or Illinois.
Because of the other photos from this day, I think the first three came from Illinois...
Definitely not the best photos, at least they are a record of sorts showing these old barns.
This barn has been and still is a real beauty.
This one is from Indiana...in fact, I think I could take you right to it. It is east and north of Perrysville, Indiana. It is along the route of one of my favorite drives.
This one is south of Perrysville...and it is on Coffing Brothers Rd. Again, along the route we travel fairly often. I have posted this photo before, as well as other photos of this same barn.
I may be slow getting everyone visited, but I will get to your barn eventually....
i love the elevator going into the haymow. (nowadays, i call it a loft or folks don't know what i'm talking about). and the first one is a beaut!
ReplyDeleteGreat barns, Rose. We just don't see barns like this around here.
ReplyDeleteWOW Rose, such a great collection of weathered barns you have this week. The sky in the last one is magical. Happy barn hunting in the New Year.
ReplyDeleteHello Rose, great barn finds. The first one is my favorite. And I agree the sky in the last shot is awesome.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, enjoy your new week! I wish you all the best in 2016, Happy New Year!
I very much like the textures in your first two photos and the elevator in the last photo is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the last pic. White clouds above and white barn below.
ReplyDeleteYour drives has produced some excellent barns. I'm glad you have chosen to share them with us.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere I go I am looking for barns and fences. These are amazing :)
ReplyDeleteFirst one looks sort of like the ones in the movies where the stunt drivers plow through the hay and out the other side. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selection! I like that long-sided roof on the second barn, and the overall scene of the last image. Great sky in that one, too.
ReplyDeleteWe went up to South Bend for Christmas. On the way home (on Hwy. 39, south of Hwy. 14) we noticed another of the barns I regularly photograph had blown down. :-(
Lindy
Lots of great barns. That last one is my favorite today.
