On our drive yesterday we came to a little town we had never been in, Russellville. Roger spotted this old house...I really hope to go back there someday to see if it has been given a new lease on life.
The door doesn't look too old, but that porch and steps could be updated one way or the other.
An interesting house. Wish I had the $ and patience to update a cute home like this!
ReplyDeleteAnd a fresh coat of paint as well. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteIt looks too good not to save so I hope someone has the money to invest.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a sweet little cottage for someone if it were fixed up!
ReplyDeleteYou see houses like that everywhere. I often wonder what the story is..
ReplyDeletea landlord that doesn't care, owners who are financially unable to maintain their home, or owners that just don't care. No matter what the story is, it's sad to see this neglect.
Hello, looks like this house needs JO from HGTV Fixer Uppers. The steps look scary. Great find. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletehope it can be saved.
ReplyDeleteCute house. It would look pretty if repaired and given a new coat of paint.
ReplyDeleteit's still solid and square
ReplyDeleteA lot of work there. Years ago I wouldn't be saying such a thing but now, I'm tired of fixing up things. That roof needs some attention also.
ReplyDeleteThe front steps look dangerous! Definitely a fixer-upper!
ReplyDeleteA tad too much ice melt on that porch, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat old house. I like the detail that you captured of the steps.
