Swans at the strip pits

This is part of a group of swans we were looking down on the other day out at the strip its.
They took off as I was trying take photos of them. It might look like their wing tips are black, but they aren't.

  2. In answer to Joanna's query above:
    a gaggle of swans
a wedge of swans (when they're flying)
a bank of swans (at rest on land)
    a bevy of swans
    a whiteness of swans
a herd of swans (semi-domesticated swans)
    an eyrar of swans
    a gargle of swans
.....but whatever you call them they're beautiful.

  4. so beautiful and I would love to see them in the wild. I have only seen 2 and they were in Jungle Gardens, not wild.
