This is the the Dewar log cabin that is located at the T. C. Steele Historic site in Brown County.
Just imagine living here in some of the bitter winter weather when the wind is howling....and snow and/or rain is blowing sideways.

  1. I like the Dewar log cabin but staying there would be very lonely in the bitter winter weather.

  7. I would hope the fireplace did an adequate job of heating the cabin. These images certainly convey the rustic cabin.

  8. I would be forced to clean my closets to live in this place. :)) What a good excuse for getting rid of a lot of 'stuff."

  9. Our log home that was built n the 1860's was very warm believe it or not. Of course we had a wood stove for those cold VA Winter winds...:)JP
