I don't know how many times I have stopped to take pics of this place and yet I never get one I am proud of. I am posting it anyway.
Another so, so pic...at least I was straining to turn around enough to take it. If Roger backed up, till I didn't have to, the tree was in the way. Why I didn't just get out is more than I know. But this is one of those Jacob sheep...notice the horns!
cool sheep - glad you remembered the species as it would have driven me crazy trying to think of it.
ReplyDeleteA very handsome sheep with the beautiful horns.
ReplyDeleteI really like this old barn. We are losing them at such a fast rate these days. Nice to see one you can see through that is not falling down.
ReplyDeleteNothing so-so about them, Rose. I love them both and thanks for the name of the sheep breed as I don't think I've seen any hereabouts.
ReplyDeleteso, so, nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool sheep!
ReplyDeleteHello, the Jacob Sheep is cool. Great shots of the barn and critter. Have a happy day and weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love both photos. Hope you two enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe horns caught my eye right away. Not sure I ever saw this before. And . . . how many times have I asked myself the same question about taking the time to get out and take the photo I know I want. I think it's called 'hurry sickness'.
ReplyDeletewhen is the last time you had your eyes checked? these photos are beautiful.. i see no so so pics here. i love that sheep and the black barn is beautiful... never seen a Jacob sheep before. and only one sheep of any kind. the kind mary had that followed her around.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed both pictures regardless of your opinion of them. The sheep is fascinating with those horns.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean--so so pics!? They are pretty good. that sad falling apart barn
ReplyDeleteI saw one of those sheep once and it had 3 horns and I called it a Unicorn sheep. duh!!

It has 4 horns! Most unusual... well to me anyway. I have never heard of a Jacob sheep.
ReplyDeleteWow, horns on the sheep. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't miss the horns. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the barn - it has such character. And the sheep is amazing - what horns - watch out for those.
