Taken earlier this month

When I first started taking Roger for short drives through the strip pit area, we saw lots of Monarchs.  This is one of my luckier shots...

  5. Great shot. I'm always fascinated to see and hear about Monarchs since we don't have them over here. (Not the butterfly version anyway - we do have an old lady with a crown though!).

  8. Good shot and lucky you to see a Monarch. I saw only 1 this year, 2 the year before but dozens 5 years ago. Truly an endangered species.
