I'm assuming that is not blooming right now :-) But it sure is beautiful! I've always wanted to make a quilted poppy and that one would be a perfect pattern for making one. Hope all is well with you and Roger!
tis beautiful... I am complaining about humidity and heat, the sun is shining and we are at 79 degrees, humid degrees.. thus is florida. no one else is hot, just me
i can understand your appeal to that bloom. so pretty!! happy even. the weather is confused. so cold and windy. the other day ... i think it was tuesday was humid. the weather is just like i will do whatever i wish whenever i care to. giggles. ( :
I love Poppies. I have planted them several times, but the Universe has told me each time that they are not meant to be. They never die a natural death but by unforeseen catastrophe. But I will continue the effort...just as I did for the Chicory that I love so much. It reminds me every year to be tenacious. xx, Carol
I love red poppies---well a lot of poppies but red is the color ZI need today. We had a little snow but it is all gone now but it is 27degrees----Brrr to me MB

ReplyDeleteWe have had some cool but sunny days in my part of the UK ...
ReplyDeleteHowever, that lovely red shade is certainly appealing.
All the best Jan
...and me too!
ReplyDeleteWe could use some color on this overcast, very dull day. A fine post.

ReplyDeleteWe have had two months of constant rain with very little sunshine. Love the poppy image!
