I suggest going to the bottom of the post and starting the video while strolling through the photos...
I have had ideas to try for Foto Tunes, but it is always something I need to work on. No photos on hand for it.
Today this song came to mind when someone had captioned a picture with 'the dirt road'...not saying who it was...
I thought that's it!
We are always pulled down the dirt roads.
It was hard to narrow them down to just a few...
I will stop with these for now...
Beautiful sights. Dirt roads are most often the ones with the most interesting things to see.
ReplyDelete...thanks so much Rose for this wonderful pairing of fotos and tune! Number 1 is my favorite, a dirt road that I would enjoy travelling. I may have to borrow this tune some day. I hope that you get hooked on foto tunes, see what you can come up with!
ReplyDeleteRoads like those always call you to follow them!
ReplyDeleteOh MY!!! Maybe your best post EVER! I love both pictures and song, they fit so well together! Each picture is a GEM!!! I have never heard this song, but I love it right away. I have no favorites here, each one almost brings tears to my eyes. This post is genius, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect with the song! Dirtroads are always a big adventure...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
LOVE these photos and the music! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteWell done and fits the song perfectly. For Foto Tunes I put the link to the tune at the beginning of my post so it can be turned on first and then scroll down. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your great photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat suggestion, Rose. Listening to the song and taking the stroll with you down the dirt road is wonderful. Love all the photos. Love to see the colourful trees.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a dirt road in about 40 years now. I love all of these and I did what you said and am still listening. I love the song and the pics and I am a dirt road kind of person with music and roads. in Florida they have paved paradise... also if you drive out east to find a dirt road the dirt here is like fine powder and will choke you
ReplyDeleteThey are very interesting country pictures. The walking trail looks good. The cement bridge looks vlery low. The foliage of the tree is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, perfect song to accompany your photos! Dirt roads are so interesting. Thanks for sharing.

B&W photos are my favourite, especially sky in the first one.
ReplyDeleteDirt roads are very appealing - great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog - Monday Mural the antique car. I enlarged my photo to look at the price tag, but the sun glare was still too overpowering. I have more old cars from the same car show on my blog today if you are interested
Have a great week!
I know these roads certainly call to me. : )
ReplyDeleteWonderful photographs and music.
ReplyDeleteMontana is full of dirt roads, in fact I live 3 miles down one.
Thank you for visiting my fairy slipper post.
Lovely photos. I grew up on a dirt road, so I'm a little partial to them.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these pictures, Rose. Driving the country roads is something that I love to do. What a pretty picture of the orange tree - it looks like Autumn. The music goes along so well with the photos.

Good suggestion to start the music first, I always hope people will do that with my posts. All gorgeous pics, but the black and whites really speak to me.
ReplyDeleteGreat series, I love the first photo. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous series of captures! I love to take long walks in nature, so I thank you very much for sharing. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rose. I always love dirt roads and my house is on a dirt road too. I always like Sawyer Brown---good tune.
