This is my first coneflower of the season....
*************
Roger definitely turned a page....got up yesterday morn and it was like a
light had been flipped on. He was joking and laughing and there was a
twinkle in his eyes. He still seems to tire easily, and I can see it
in his eyes, but it is such a different look. Anyway, thank you for
your prayers and well wishes.
Praising God for this!!! The first one is a great one, so perfectly pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh I love cone flowers and have MANY of them in my garden. They haven't bloomed yet though.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Roger is doing better.
What an exceptional pic of the coneflower! We do not have any planted here but I sure love the purple color. So thankful for answered prayers for Roger. Hope you both enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteHello, so glad your Roger is doing better. The coneflower is lovely, one of my favorites. Mine are not blooming yet. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

I'm so glad Roger was cheerful last weekend. It's such a long road to recover sometimes, but with you there by his side, I'm sure he'll be back to his self in no time. Your first coneflower of the season is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA happy week to you, Rose.

What great news - and a lovely flower to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flower shot with which to celebrate Roger being better.
ReplyDelete...I haven't seen one yet.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful news about Roger. I'm keeping him in my prayers. LOVE the coneflower...what a nice color! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteStunning cornflower!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Roger is getting better.
It seems that you love your roosters the way that I do. When we had our cabin in VA, my grandsons would go through the place counting them. I don't know how many there were...all I know is I boxed them all up when we sold the place and brought several into my kitchen, where they still live today. I may decrease my stash when we move to the farmhouse but I feel certain some of them will be on display there. I may even get real brave and get me a real one to go with the hens I plan to have. I would adopt everyone of these :D
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that Roger is feeling better. It's very pretty picture.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear Roger is so much better. My cone flowers are no where NEAR blooming yet. Took Terry to the ER yesterday with that low blood pressure episode. Can't believe it was caused by dehydration. He drinks a lot of water, but apparently not enough. I'll be keeping a closer watch on him!!
