I offer two views of the same plant...
I have never seen Queen Anne's lace quite like this...they usually are more flatter. For sure never so round and thick as this one. It has that center dark flower, but if you know it to be something different, please comment and tell.
This is a hard one! Take a look underneath, that may tell. I have never seen a Queen Anne's like this, and maybe it isn't one? Or maybe there are different kinds?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I found was this: http://www.ravensroots.com/blog/2015/6/26/poison-hemlock-id. There's a chance it could be poison Hemlock.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves of Poison Hemlock are kind of like a fern.

ReplyDeleteThis is a real mystery! Don't know what it is.
ReplyDeleteLooks very like what we call Sea Carrot (daucus carota ssp gummifer) in the UK.

Though that itself is quite a variable plant across the UK.
Hello, now that is a different plant. I have never seen one like this! Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is queen annes lace, but no idea what it is. did some research ad found nothing.. it is beautiful..
ReplyDelete...at first I thought that it was an allium.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique plant, never seen anything like it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a new one on me. I did see those flat queen anne's lace blossoms in a bouquet for a bridal shower once that had been dyed in soft pastel colors. Now, that was different.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what flower it is but it is surely a very pretty one. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteThis queen anne lace makes an impressive two pictures. They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Queed Anne Lace--- and I'm amazed by the size of these.
ReplyDeleteWOW...look like some sort of a hybrid to me! Amazing. Good luck finding your answer!
ReplyDeleteI like them both :-) Queen Ann Lace is called bird's nest in our language.
ReplyDeleteCan't add anything to what has already been said.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is interesting though and very pretty.
It definitely has a different shape, but is exceptionally beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI found this here Rose. It looks like a white allium. See what you think :)
