I am resorting to barns from the archives again...I don't remember where we were when I took these...but we were coming home from somewhere.
I think this is a drive by....that looks like the windshield at the bottom of the photo.
Another snag while driving by...straight on shots turn out better than shooting out the side window..
This one is NOT a drive-by. I have two or three where I have zoomed in.
Notice the chains up in the peak?
This is a drive by for sure...you can see a reflection from the window.

Great collection of barns from your archives Rose. There is a definite beauty to these old buildings and their surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI also especially like the trees in these pictures. The next to last picture...the angle you snapped it at makes it look like a covered bridge!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning - love the colors and composition.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting barns!
ReplyDeleteWindow reflections are annoying, but sometimes one chance at a photo is all we get.
Have a wonderful day!
Your drive back photos are so amazing if you didn't tell us they were a drive-by we wouldn't know it and I love the one with the chains in it that is just so beautiful
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of drive by shootings. :) Yours turned out a lot better than most of mine. One of the tricks is to have a clean windshield, which isn't always the case. We have a truck and I can't reach it to clean the bugs off. I really like the cavernous opening with surrounding ivy. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI so love your old wooden barns. They're so picturesque and have such character. Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteHello, wonderful series of barn finds. I love the weathered look on these old barns. The last one is my favorite. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead!
ReplyDelete...Rose, a great collection! Number 5 looks like the portal to a covered bridge. Thanks for sharing this week, I hope to see you back again.
ReplyDeleteInteresting barns and well capture from the drive
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful barns! Love the last one!
ReplyDeleteAll very nicely caught, Rose.
ReplyDeleteI like the vines growing up that old barn.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose-
ReplyDeleteI like your drivebys. They seem harmless :)
The Ivy on the barn is really beautiful.
Nice find, snap and share.
Hope you and Roger are doing well.
Have a Happy Weekend!
Peace :)
"I don't remember where we were when I took these...but we were coming home from somewhere." Great line!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. That is a huge opening in the second last barn!
I love your barn images Rose. They are so beautiful. Every single one. Carol
ReplyDeleteFantastic barns, Rose! I really love the last one!
ReplyDeleteNice series, #5 looks like entrance to the darkness...
ReplyDeleteThere is a definite beauty to these old buildings and their surroundings.
