I took the tree down and packed away the ornaments one more time. Kind of a bittersweet feeling...glad to have my living room back to normal. But miss the lights and sparkle.
I too ws lamenting the end of our Christmas tree and the pretty ornaments put away for anoter year. I hope the new year has more kindnes and understing in it. And, fewer bad events.
The tree came down due to a lack of space. Today will be the last night I have the lights outside on. I miss the lights...not so much the tree. Happy New Year. xx, Carol
Yes, that was exactly how I felt when I took our tree down too. I'll be taking a blog break, but the girls will still post as often as they can, and I will continue to visit your charming blog, Rose, and see your wonderful pictures.
I missed having a tree this year. There really isn't enough room for more than a tiny one, so didn't put one up at all. It's always sad to put the tree away, but it will be Christmas again before we turn around. I'm putting up a tree next year!
I kind of want to leave mine up.
ReplyDeleteMy tree and decorations come down today as well. It does feel good to have the house back to normal.
