Lucky shot...


This butterfly was not still a second, or barely if it was so how this photo turned out as good as it did is more than I will ever know....

  4. Wow, that really has turned out well with every detail so sharp. Looks very like a Swallowtail, our variety is very rare in England but more plentiful in Europe. If you want to photograph butterflies it's often best to go out early before they've had time to warm up.

  6. it is stunning and oh so beautiful. when I first started taking photographs I was shocked at how good some were and how bad others were and wished I could always take great shots. but then I found out even REAL photogrpahers get bad photos to. that is why when you see them taking photos of models, they keep firing that camera thousands of times, then they pick out the best. awesome shot

  9. i agree with Tom ... no kidding ... i try all the time to get butterflies ...but i don't have the patiences to stand there and just be still ... so i usually give up ... i love it ... so springy ... these into winter months are hard to remember that spring will be here soon ... no worries. i hope u r well ... thx 4 your visit. take care and enjoy this holiday season.
