Something so beautiful...
As most of you know, I had a bad fall in February, 3 breaks in the ankle area, complicated by fracture blisters. It was May before I was allowed to put any weight at all on that foot/leg.
Our front steps do not have a handrail...it was on Roger's to-do list when he had his stroke 2 1/2 years ago. So that was not done.
I went out to get the mail and saw this leave laying in the yard...I think it was responsible for me finally having the nerve to go down those steps for the first time. I had to have a photo of it, so in I came and got my camera and managed to get down the steps.
As far as steps, go, it is still slow going. But I can do it...
The leaf is gorgeous. But you really need a handrail, even if someone else has to do it. You are brave, because I wouldn't even attempt it.
ReplyDeleteYes--- a wonderful picture of a wonderful leaf. Please have someone put up a handrail. It's not going to be expensive, and you need it. Heck, my balance is shot and I need to use a hand rail on all stairs.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very beautiful leaf that beckoned you out. But get that handrail done (and maybe some kind of grips on those wooden steps wouldn't go amiss).
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty leave, beautiful photo. Take care on the steps. Enjoy your day and week ahead!
Such a pretty leaf. A gift really that urged you to tackle those steps! The Universe does work in mysterious ways.

...small things are often the most beautiful. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYou have come so far Rose! The leaf is beautiful but be careful!❤️
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful leaf. You just be careful and don't fall again.
ReplyDeletetis a beautiful leaf, and so glad you could go down the steps again. be sure to stay off that railess porch if ice or snow fall.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, it sounds like you're doing better with your ankle. I can see why you went down the steps to take the picture. The leaf is so pretty. Most of our leaves have fallen now and the trees are bare. Getting colder every day.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying the Christmas season. : )
