The above is from last night's drive through the strip pit area....
This one is from the 21st...one week before. I think it must be lonely. It is the only one I have seen out there. Though maybe they are actually two different turtles.
Oh, there's another one somewhere near. We often see turtles on a log taking a sunbath in the bay at the end of our road. Sometimes from their sizes they look like a family. xx, Carol
He sure is holding his head up high.Hope he has some friends near him.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he is looking for some buddies!
ReplyDeleteAwwww....poor thing!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's just an introverted turtle...lol
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI am sure this turtle has some family and friends around. Cute turtle.
Enjoy your day and weekend!
Whether there are two or not, this picture is very effective. I like how the turtle is posed.g
ReplyDeleteUsually I see two or more all crowded on a log or rock, and even on top of each other. It does seem odd to just see one.
ReplyDeleteHopefully there are more around.
ReplyDeleteNice capture though.
Probably really enjoying life too!
ReplyDeleteit is very unusual to see just one on a log.. hope they are not bullying him/her.
ReplyDeleteSunning itself! Great capture.
ReplyDeleteThese are interesting pictures, Rose. Turtles make me smile. : )
