This is an old home we pass at least two or three times a year...it is on one of my favorite drives.
I paused to take a few pics of it yesterday.
I would love to peek inside but I just somehow never feel right trespassing, even if I don't plan to do any harm.
Poor old thing. hollow and empty. Good thing you did not peek in, that little porch may have collapsed on you!
ReplyDeleteHe's getting ready to meet the saints, as Rosemary Clooney put it so many years ago...
ReplyDeleteI am the same way, I would love to go in and wander around. It's kind of sad seeing houses that are just abandoned like this.
ReplyDeleteUma pena estar ao abandono.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

it truly is a beautiful old lady of a house and I would love to look around. I am like you, I don't like to trepass unless I ask first.. my favorite pic is the last one, what is sitting in the window, it looks like a cat, but also like a giant frog. the first one would be great on the cover of a mystery novel.... love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThis old house has some great stories. Love the photos. Happy Friday, enjoy your day. Have a great weekend!
Mmmm..needs a bit of work.
ReplyDeleteLots of memories are stored in those old walls.
ReplyDeleteI love it too. Love the trees surrounding it also. Wish I knew the history of it.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to take a peek inside too and probably would if someone was with me!
ReplyDeleteIt would be tempting to go in for a look. It might be not safe with rotting floors or ceilings. The stories it could tell.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably full of mice and possums and raccoons and skunks and the like but it sure is an interesting sight with lots o character from the outside. It really sparks the imagination.
