A small bale of turles...

I started to call this a small crop of turtles, but thought I might as well see what a group is called....and 'bale' is what popped up when I googled it.

This little guy was out by itself...

And I just managed to capture this one...the others that were there slid into the backwater before I could snap any more.

  8. I confess to wondering about what a turle might be---AH but then came your perfecdt pictures of these guys. A murder of turtles? Naaaa A flock of turtles? Nope. A gaggle of Turtles? No way. A tumult of turtles? Maybe. In the meantime, A bale works just fine!

  16. Good Pic. The last house my daughter rented was on a small drainage pond. We loved seeing the turtles sitting on a fallen tree. Such a simple and relaxing thing to do!
