Buzzard roost

For a few years, the Turkey Vultures roosted right down town on this tower.   Which is beside the Police Station/ Fire Station/ City Hall.  I don't know what was done, but they no longer roost there.

There would be well over a hundred.  I wish I had tried to count them at least once but I never took the time.  BTW, neither of these photos show how many were normally there at night.

  1. I imagine seeing all of those guys next to the police station would give bad guys the desire to leave town.... Great shot.

  2. That's intriguing that they are no longer there. I think that would make me sad if I saw them there all the time.

  10. These pictures already show a lot of birds. I can imagine that they left behind a significant amount of droppings.
