Thought I would throw in two or three shots taken at the fair years ago...I first was going to title this post Profiles, but then the following isn't quite a profile.
And take a look at this next one.
Doesn't he have an almost malevolent look in his eye?
I agree about the last one. And the middle white one sure has a crazy hairdo, plus he looks MAD!
ReplyDeleteFascinating photos.
ReplyDeleteThey don't look pleased about their incarceration! Great character studies of some mean-looking characters!
ReplyDeleteYou took great shots for "Profiles"!
ReplyDeleteI am terrified of roosters. that said, these photos are STUNNING.. all three are gorgeous. my favorite is the middle one...never seen one like that.... they are prime examples of roosters for sure. my husbands daughter has chcikend that look similar to the middle one. she only gets exotic chickens. she rescues them from people who don't want them anymore
ReplyDeleteVerdadeiros Samurais, aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.

Wow, these are great. I've never seen one quite like the middle one. Yes, I agree on the last one.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteSome do have the grumpy look. Cute chickens. Enjoy your day and weekend!
I like looking in the "chicken house" at the Texas State Fair when we go. Until I saw them, I never knew there were so many kinds of interesting chickens and roosters. Cool shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Rose.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed seeing all the photos.
ReplyDeleteThat last one does look quite mean. But then again he IS 'behind bars'.
