Red Admiral....


I have been seeing a few Red Admirals on the coneflowers...this one is on the wall behind the flowers.  It is taken with my  phone, and is cropped heavily.  In fact, there is no need to click on this, because it will not expand any more.

  10. we have always had a lot of red admirals, this year we saw only ONE.. he came for a week of so and is gone. i think it is the drought. we have always had year round flowers, we don't have many now. just a couple of hibiscus.

  12. Usually see quite a few of these but haven't yet this year. My cone flowers haven't quite bloomed yet, but it won't be long.

  13. We have seen few butterflies at the Funny Farm, ut Bub had hundreds of hummingbirds.

  15. I have seen a couple of these this spring. Last year we had so few butterflies. Our rains this year made them happen.
