I could not pick just one or two...so beware...remember to click on the view and expand the view.
Seeing the birds gathering like this is a sure sign fall is here.
On down the road there was another gathering of birds...
They flew away before I could get any more shots...consider yourself lucky.
The first ones are my favorite. They are just amazing, following the lines of the roof to create a design!
ReplyDeleteEna tantos, gostei de ver e aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.

These are fascinating. Not only because of all the birds but when you add in the patterns made by the metal building it becomes a little mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteDes images de toute beauté ! :-)

ReplyDeleteAs you will by now be aware, I am a lover of pattern and 'rhythm' in photography and these certainly have that! Do I have faves? Yes, #3 and #7. YAM xx
Starlings? They're gathering in larger and larger groups here at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous images !!
Lucky ? We are overwhelmed !! Thanks for sharing Rosee ! Fantastic shots !!!!
Devi:) Have a wonderful weekend :)
Which birds are that? Are they migratory birds, are they flying south? Very impressive are these meetings!
ReplyDeleteWe had about a million birds stop in our front yard and across the street. I could not get a good view of what they were. Too small for Starlings or Grackle. It's a mystery to me!

Great pictures of birds' gathering. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteamazing, amazing, amazing... that is as many birds as I saw in the horror film The Birds, this is worthy of Hitchcock.... can't decide which amazes me most, the crowder power lines or the top of the silo
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a lot of birds. I liked how the views got farther and farther away!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Good to see all the birds. Like something out of Hitchcock.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful presentation of the migrating birds gathering before their flight south Rose... i enjoyed your different points of view....peter:)
ReplyDeleteOh my word! That is amazing. Yes, the birds do create some artistic views.
ReplyDeleteRose, first I wanted to thank you for watching a video on The Rosary. There are a few prayers that are said for it, but the ones you may be familiar with are the Our Father and Hail Mary. I have been saying it every day, and it always brings me peace. I'm not familiar with other religions, but Yes, it is something that Catholics love to do. Also, I did show my Rosary on a post before. It was titled 'Home Treasures' - June 9, 2011. I showed some of me and the girls' favorite home treasures.
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice pictures of all the birds. I've never seen so many at one time. They sure like sitting there on top of that white dome. : ) I hope your weekend is peaceful, Rose.

A fabulous series. I find it amazing how birds seem to gather in certain places. I notice this more in winter it seems. It looks like some kind of big convention!
ReplyDelete"They flew away before I could get any more shots...consider yourself lucky." :D
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures --- thank you. We don't have anything like that here.
These pictures are awesome, Rose!
ReplyDeleteSo many blackbirds! Great photos!
