The color is beginning...

This is from today...from over in Illinois.  There was more color in Paris, but no way to capture it so I took a took a long way home....and I stumbled across this scene.

  1. I always enjoy seeing those road scenes. We're at about the same stage of autumn here, though I found plenty of colour at the Botanic Garden yesterday.

  2. We'll have color for another few weeks, but many of the leaves are falling now.

  3. That's about what it looks like right here now. I don't think the color is going to be too spectacular this year. I've got one tree that the leaves are pretty much just turning brown and falling off.

As I look out my window typing this, I see similar colours... but unlike your side, ours pass over within a week or so, taken by rain and wind and more of the same! I shall be loving seeing all the shades from your blog and other pals on that side of the Pond! YAM xx

  8. A nice palette of beautiful colors! We seem to be seeing the end of colors here in Chicagoland. It was a short season of colors.

  13. We got some color this fall, but not as much as usual. It was too warm, then a sudden deep freeze (down to 16 degrees F). Better luck next time. :D

    Thank you for the shot.
