It has really started to fall apart. I always have wondered why the owners just let these buildings just fall down. Barn wood is so popular today, you would think that they could sell the wood and make some money on the side!
I'd say the barn boards were gone a long time ago--- But the bones may be stronger than we think. Most small farms just can't put the money into maintaining the barns these days.

ReplyDeleteSad.
ReplyDeleteIt's leaning quite a lot. I agree it probably fell into a heap.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that is in a sorry state. I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

ReplyDeleteOOoohhhh. I saw this skeleton and my heart leapt and eyes may have wept... YAM xx
poor sweet old barn is just collapsing into a pile of wood. still beautiful though
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is sad, I am sure someone would love to have that old barn wood.
Enjoy your day, have a happy new week ahead.
A fine picture of this sad building that probably no longer exists.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look that building will be standing much longer.
ReplyDeleteNICE picture though.
Looks like it wouldn't take too much wind to flatten that one.
ReplyDeleteThe way that's leaning it looks like a strong wind could blow it over.
ReplyDeleteSad to see and kind of dangerous looking.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone was able to recycle the wood and make something beautiful with it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a breeze is all that is needed before it collapses. I love seeing the structural members/framing.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I think a strong wind and it would come down … in fact it probably is down.
ReplyDeleteThere is something nice about the photograph though.
All the best Jan
