Down to the bones...

This is from the archives....I doubt it is still there.

  1. It has really started to fall apart. I always have wondered why the owners just let these buildings just fall down. Barn wood is so popular today, you would think that they could sell the wood and make some money on the side!

  2. It's leaning quite a lot. I agree it probably fell into a heap.

  3. Oh dear, that is in a sorry state. I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

  4. I'd say the barn boards were gone a long time ago--- But the bones may be stronger than we think. Most small farms just can't put the money into maintaining the barns these days.

  7. Hello,

It is sad, I am sure someone would love to have that old barn wood.

  8. A fine picture of this sad building that probably no longer exists.

  9. Doesn't look that building will be standing much longer.
    NICE picture though.

  10. Looks like it wouldn't take too much wind to flatten that one.

  11. The way that's leaning it looks like a strong wind could blow it over.

  12. Sad to see and kind of dangerous looking.

  13. I hope someone was able to recycle the wood and make something beautiful with it.

  14. Looks like a breeze is all that is needed before it collapses. I love seeing the structural members/framing.

  15. Oh my goodness, I think a strong wind and it would come down … in fact it probably is down.
There is something nice about the photograph though.

    All the best Jan
