Isn't this pretty?  But can you imagine keeping it painted?

  3. now a days they would use a bucket to lift the painter up there to do all the detail, I am always amazed that they could build things like this in 1871...I wonder if they built scaffolding back then. all those heavy bricks ups so high and details at the top, plus the roof
