From a brick kiln that used to be in operation in Cayuga, Indiana. This was taken in 2008. The kiln had been in business for 50 years, but closed down in 2016.
Great capture of this kiln! I love the contrast between the hot flames and the cool gray exterior. That looks like a heavy door for the kiln's opening.
I LOVE IT!!!!! I would love to stand in front of it, with or without my camera. super shot of the flames, I am warming my hands to it now. do they make brick in it?
What a wonderful picture of the fire!! Looks like it could jump right out at me!
ReplyDeleteI must be hungry because it make me think of brick oven pizza. Nice shot of the fire surrounded by the dark stone work.
