Peaches

If I had a bag of these, I could eat every single one.  I love peaches.....and good peaches are hard to find in the summer.

  3. I haven't bought a peach in a long time because they aren't very good in our market. :(

  4. They look good. My father hated the feel and texture of peaches and couldn't even bear to watch someone eating one, which was unfortunate because my mother loved them as much as you do.

  8. I love peaches too. They are expensive because they are imported and not always available.

  9. I love a good peach. There is a store in Madison and when peaches are in season they sell what they call chin dripping peaches, I believe they come from Georgia. Haven't had them in a long time.

  11. I forgot to comment on the oranges on your other post. I love oranges and all citrus and have always had access because of my mother being from Florida. the orange you had in your photo are my least favorite, there are many of them, just like apples.. I love cuties from CA and tangerines, 3 different kinds. apples are my least favorite of fruit, peaches I was raised on and are a favorite. I am a Georgia born peach. these looks yummy

  17. I love them, too. When they are ripe, you have to eat them fast before they spoil. I hate having any spoil. ;-)

  18. Love peaches and loved your photo. My relatives had several different varieties of peach trees, and I loved them all. Now I buy peaches, and the taste takes me back to when my cousins and I would stop our summertime playing to pick a peach or two, sit in the grass and have a snack. Yep! No washing, just gobbling. A few peach seasons later and we were enlisted in the kitchen porch tradition of peeling peaches with our mothers and aunts. It was a happy prelude to diced peaches on homemade ice cream, peach preserves and peach cobblers.

  19. Brings back summer memories. There is a peach farm not far from where I live and this year their peaches were so delicious. A wonderful image.
