A fine pair

Besides the Snow Geese, I saw this pair of Mallards at another pond.

  1. Mallards always remind me of my childhood feeding the ducks at a pond in a cemetery in my hometown. It was beautiful and right across the street from the home of family friends we visited regularly. This pair is lovely.

  4. Rose, this is one of the best yet! I love the Mallards that visit our ponds, but I can never get close enough to get a shot like this! This photo is so so good ~ a winner for this year, I am sure!

  6. They're fun to watch. They're the most common duck here, but we do see some others-- including very rare mergansers and wood ducks. Delightful capture, Rose.
