Love the swans, lovely photos and video. They can have a mean look, like why are you disturbing me, lol. Take care! Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!
We have had a Mallard couple visit the pond off and on. I think they are making it their home since it is snowing and they are floating with their heads under their wings. I usually chase them off but since they keep returning I don't have the heart. So I guess I'll have to do my best to protect them from Harley. Perhaps they are looking for a good place to Shelter In Place. xx, Carol
I love the video. I wouldn't mess with that swan!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good catch! How do you know it was a muskrat?
ReplyDeletePeek-a-boo :))
ReplyDeleteSwans are beautiful creatures to look at, so majestic.
Swans are cranky. Beautiful, but cranky.
ReplyDeleteIf they were a little less common I'm sure we'd appreciate them more. They are huge and beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear that swan saying "get out of here you bratty kid, go play in someone elses yard"...lol

The swan was ready to take him on. Nice shooting.
ReplyDeleteSadly the video would not play for me. I tried several times and kept getting a error. Lovely swan images.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images of the swan. The big guy was not allowing any nonsense from the muskrat.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the swans. That muskrat had better watch, or he will get nipped.
ReplyDeletethe snag in the top shot nicely balances the swan. the lower shot is a good document of behavior, but not an attractive photo on its own
ReplyDeleteThe first image is beautiful with the swan and the lovely reflection. The second made me smile!

Oh, they didn't both each other, did they? Love that second picture of the Swan with her head under water. That's a good one.
