Barn, home, studio???

I really think it is a home, but I sure would like to take a tour, no matter which it is.

I know this is south and east of here...wish I could find it again.

  1. It is fancy alright. Too fancy for animals!

  3. I suppose it must be a home, but a very strange one. I have some friends who used to live in a barn conversion - great in summer but it cost a fortune to heat during the winter months.

  4. Judging by the raised heat pump, small satellite dish, deck and large propane tank, I'd guess that it is a wonderful home on the upper level, and perhaps something else below. It doesn't appear to have animals around it. I envy them.

  6. With those windows I would think it's a home also. I wouldn't mind getting a look inside of this one.

  7. Now this one looks strong and cared for! Love the color of the roofs and the tiny windows just below the top tier :)

It is a beautiful barn, the windows and roof look new. Enjoy your day!

  10. That would be one big house if it has been adaptively reused!! Especially if it's a two-story residence. Seeing the propane tank in the rear, I think you are right. And I love that second level porch/balcony.

  19. It looks like it could be all three at once.
Nice find and nicely shot, Rose.

  20. It is certainly in fine shape, though tightly closed up. No farmer would lock in his stock like that, but the shuttered windows would imply no current residency.

  21. I agree that it's a home or an artist's studio. Neat shots of the place.

  23. I'm betting it's a home. We have a friend who converted an old horse barn into a most beautiful home. It was amazing.

  24. It is a beautiful barn. Interesting that the windows are so high. It would be nice to know what it is used for. I like the roof and the weathered wood.
