Porch buddy...

This is from several years ago...one that used to come up on our back porch.  It only had three steps to come up.

  14. If you had a porch light he probably thought you were providing the best place to catch bugs. We used to see one under my dad's bug zapper, catching cooked bugs before they hit the ground.

  17. His coloration works with his surroundings. It would also work well in the muddy puddles and ponds he usually inhabits.

  19. He is gorgeous! These are beautiful images. I used to get a lot of toad in my yard and at night when I turned on the porch light, they were hopping around on my patio. But they seemed to have moved on. I haven't seen any in a couple of years.
