From a country drive continued....


I thought it was really nice that these were planted by the electric pole...they were quite a distance from the house.

  7. Pretty. I have a spot near the road where there is not only a telephone pole but a speed limit sign and I hate mowing around the two of them. I should plant some flowers around them and then I won't have to.

  10. We see masses of daffodils by the roadside, but I don't think I've ever seen irises growing like this. Very attractive.

  11. Purple Iris are a particular favorite of mine. Ours do not bloom until late May usually.

  22. These iris are gorgeous. I always like it when you see flowers just planted randomly somewhere. The color is lovely. Mine have not bloomed yet. I hope soon.

  23. Without the pole, the irises wouldn't look so beautiful. And, without the irises, the pole would be just a pole. I love the picture.
