Pretty. I have a spot near the road where there is not only a telephone pole but a speed limit sign and I hate mowing around the two of them. I should plant some flowers around them and then I won't have to.
Delightful purple posies and the regal looking collie photos share a striking characteristic in common. Both capture texture so dramatically that I want to touch.
These iris are gorgeous. I always like it when you see flowers just planted randomly somewhere. The color is lovely. Mine have not bloomed yet. I hope soon.

ReplyDeleteWe see masses of daffodils by the roadside, but I don't think I've ever seen irises growing like this. Very attractive.
ReplyDeletePurple Iris are a particular favorite of mine. Ours do not bloom until late May usually.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful flowers by the pole. A nice place to grow them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blossoms!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are beautiful. I'm so fond of irises -- it was the name of my aunt and I always think of her when I see them.
ReplyDeleteThose Irises dress up a simple pole.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful purple iris blooms. I like it when they look natural like this instead of in a formal garden.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like to see flowers by a pole or fence post for some reason.

ReplyDeleteWithout the pole, the irises wouldn't look so beautiful. And, without the irises, the pole would be just a pole. I love the picture.
ReplyDeleteThese iris are beautiful, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I love these. There was a clump planted by the electric pole at the lab I go to. It was an unexpected surprise.
