The companion of yesterday's post....


She was one of the companions of the rooster I showed yesterday.  I love photographing chickens...so much variety.

  15. I saw them at the state fair one year and couldn't believe how many kinds, colors and shapes there were. Chickens are popular here right now and a lot of people have a few of them in the backyard.

  16. I have had a hard time of talking myself out of getting some of the baby chicks at the local feed store, and you haven't helped a bit by posting this lovely picture! :~) I miss my barnyard folks so much!

  17. This made me smile because my new neighbors have chickens. They are SO LOUD in the morning, so I asked them if they could move them over to the other side of their house.....which they did. They are pleasant to look at, but to hear them every day is not so pleasant.
