Big Boy Tomato

I only have two tomato plants...this one being the Big Boy variety.  The best I could tell, it has four tomatoes.

  5. I used to grow some of these with the children at school - any varieties that were either bigger or smaller than usual used to capture their attention!

  6. I wish I would have planted some tomatoes. Of course the rabbits would have probably gotten them but there's nothing like picking a tomato fresh from the vine

  13. It's a beauty! And big boy says he did not know that he had a tomato named after him but that it is worthy of his name

  15. Wow! You're very far along with tomato growth! I'm just getting blossoms. You must not have the cool temperatures associated with Lake Michigan.

  16. It will be a really nice tomato! Just to let the squirrels get to it before you do. One time I had a beautiful tomato and I watched it every day and the day I went out to pick it a squirrel had taken it off the vine and bit into it. I was not happy!

  24. There's nothing like homegrown tomatoes, Rose. Imagine what it's going to taste like when it's ripe. My Dad had a garden, and he would bring in the nicest looking veggies, and my Mom would have them for dinner that night.
