I think I have photographed this before.
Happy One I identified the Long haired sedge the other day by using Plant Snap app. That reminded me that I had downloaded it on my phone. So I had to finish registering. Then snapped this photo to identify it. It took three tries, and I had to switch to this photo. But soon as I switched to it, it got it right the first time.
I first used the following photo to try to identify it:
I think the leaves in the background confused the app.
Nice photos dear! :)
ReplyDeletePlease check out my latest post, too? I'd love to hear something from you! :)

Goodness, I have never heard of it.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a cool app. My Kaitlin and Torben either have it or one like it and they love it.
ReplyDeleteI heard about that app recently. How fascinating that it can identify things so quicly for you.
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteI would have identified it as Campion - but not as Evening Campion - nice variation! YAM xx
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIt is new to me, the app is great for id-ing the plants.
Enjoy your day, happy weekend!
I did not know you could do that! Great and I love these photos.
ReplyDeletePlease do not give me any ideas about more apps. What a great idea I have heard of it but never really know anybody that used it. Says I don't take many flower pictures anymore I don't really need it but I sure would have liked to have had it when I was walking in the woods. I can see the difference in the photos the one at the top is sharp and clear of the flower and more focused on the flower than the second one
ReplyDeleteI will also download Plant Snap App to help me identify plants that I do not know. Thanks for sharing. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm using that app quite a bit. This morning I identified Cow Parsley!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting plant! I like these close ups
ReplyDeleteLovely !!!!
ReplyDeleteDevi :)))
Whatever it is, it is pretty. I like how the flower comes out from that bulb formation which is beautiful. My son uses an app for tree which is similar. He has had pretty good luck using it.
ReplyDeleteI was using Plant Snap. Have to try it again.
ReplyDeleteNice shots, Rose.
I reread your comments twice before I realized the name of the flower was the caption! the pods are quite hairy; are the open blooms pretty?
ReplyDeleteI PictureThis says it's white champion. It's a very nice close-up. Impressive
ReplyDeleteThey are an unusual set of blooms.
