Isn't that the truth. I remember when I was growing up, we would go out to my dads garden and pick one and eat it right off the vine. I wish I would have gotten some tomato plants for this year but then again the last time I tried the rabbits had a party.
I think that the flowers that come before the tomatoes are just beautiful and plus the fact they'll taste delicious. When we grew our tomatoes that weren't fit to eat the flowers were gorgeous. My theory is that they've done something to the seeds and to the plants to make them last longer and they're not fit to eat
You're right, nothing like homegrown tomatoes. They taste so much better than at the store. They will be nice when they are ready to pick from your garden.
