Lotus blossom


 I am hoping to get back out to the pond before they are all gone but at the same time I am wondering if this will be the last time photographing them this year.

    It is such a beautiful lotus. I don't see them growing here in Iowa unless they are specially planted for garden shows.

    Beautiful lotus flowers. Most of the lotus flowers seen here are in pink.

    They are so pretty. I wasn't able to get out and photograph any this year. They almost look fake sometimes, they are so perfect!
