A quick snap

This was just one single shot of these grain bins...several things I have shown I have chosen the best of attempts but this is the one and only shot of these.  It could have been better, but lucky to get it.  And for some reason I like it...even with the top cut off...so no need to point out the shortcomings.  I know they are there.  It is a drive by...I don't have time to do anything but sort of aim and shoot.

  1. The fact that one of the bins is at an angle, makes the picture special.

  2. This is wonderful for the only drive-by! I love how they are tilted at different angles!

  4. Good shot. Not easy to take snapshot when driving by. I can see 3 grain bins. I wonder whether there is more hidden at the back.

  5. Honestly I didn't even notice the top cut off till I read it. I was too fascinated by the angles the silos are standing at.

LOL - This image has so much charm, due to the angles of the bins... and because of that, I did not see the crop top! YAM xx

  8. An interesting find s the sheds lean in different directions! Must be bumpy ground there....or unbalanced grain. :-)

  9. I agree with Ruth! My first thought when I saw it is that I love the photo because one of them is at an angle it really makes the photo you have three Leaning Towers of grain bins

  13. I think it's a cool shot of the old bins. They seem to have been discarded beside that road.

  15. It is like someone just tossed them there and they sit askew, as they landed.

  16. I like the lopsided bin at the left; you are right about the top crop

  17. Drive by shots are sometimes the only opportunity we have. Interesting that one of the bins seems to be leaning. I don't think that is because of your aim and shoot photo. ;-)
