I am strolling through the archives again...I don't think this one has ever been published. It was taken in Indiana on one of our rambling drives. We used to go and get on the back roads and not know where we were...just go until we came to a busy road, that we might or might not be familiar with. I miss those days.
That is the kind of driving I enjoy. Some of the best scenes can be found on the back roads.
ReplyDeleteThat little hill looks to be man-made, so the animals can get in and out of the barn maybe?
ReplyDeleteAdventures like that are fun and I can understand why you would miss them. Take care. Best wishes for the coming year. 💕
ReplyDeleteAs solid and long lasting and interesting from every angle Rose..
ReplyDeleteHave a great 2021:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Very nice, specially with the little snow
ReplyDeleteNice barn. I would love to go on such leisure drives again.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of your best barns!!! The tractor/truck port is what makes it unique!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your barn photos. That kind of a drive sounds like fun to me. Of course Wade would never have been up for something like that and I was always too afraid of getting lost on my own.
ReplyDeletethis one is really different.. it has two entrances looks like..
ReplyDeleteHello,

That's a nice one. I used to take drives like that when my kids were young. I'd pack a picnic lunch and we'd go get lost for the afternoon. It was fun!

ReplyDeleteI like the play of light on this one... yes, my dad used to favour 'road rambles' like that. Happy memories. YAM xx
Those rambling drives drives sound very nice. This is an impressive barn. Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the build up of soil so they could drive their tractor up and into the barn. I have seen many like this for a long time.
ReplyDeleteA fine barn wlith an earth way of entering the building.
ReplyDeleteA nice barn to start the year off with.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteHubby and I often used to go for drives like that. It was always exciting, and I miss those times.
ReplyDeleteThis is a huge barn. It is really beautiful. I love this image.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great looking old barn and a bit different built the way it is with a ramp up to the main level.
